Cherrie Houston, Legal Assistant, is the primary contact for the firm. She assists with general administration and client service, including preparing Request for Proposals or Qualifications, coordinating project lists and deadlines, organizing travel and CLEs for staff, maintaining the calendar system, overseeing all billing and organizing library and client files.  She also provides legal support within the firm by finalizing correspondence and assisting the Office Adminstrator with daily duties. Cherrie also plays an important role in the yearly planning and success of the Oregon Cities Attorney Association annual conferences. 

Prior to joining BEH, Cherrie worked as a Legal Assistant intern for Thomas Melville, P.C. She joined the firm in July of 2007.

Cherrie and her husband Ernie have two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Makena, and a handsome son Brett. In May of 2015, she welcomed a grandson, Emerson.  In her spare time, Cherrie enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, volunteering at her local church, and spending time with her family.
